Happy Anniversary Fellowship of Isis!

The Fellowship of Isis was founded on the Vernal Equinox of March 20th, 1976 by Olivia Robertson, her brother Lawrence, and his wife Pamela Durdin-Robertson. Please join us in remembrance and celebration on this 50th anniversary!

In honor of this day, we have added many new audio clips to our YouTube channel - links and more information below.

There are 12 new audio files of Olivia's "Reflections."  We will highlight each of them throughout the year, but they are all currently available on our YouTube channel. At the moment, they are the first 12 videos on this playlist:

Olivia's Playlist

Also, Olivia Robertson speaks about her Vocation here:

 Listen on YouTube

"It was direct Spiritual Experience, as with my brother, that I had a direct spiritual Vocation to do this from God. The Feminine aspect of God - God who is also feminine - to emphasize this, because the world is threatened by destruction, through pollution, through misuse of nature, often through stupidity and greed.  We're destroying the planet.  And the Divine Plan appears to be to emphasize the Feminine:  charity, kindness, care for Nature, nurturing, motherhood - all that side.  Not to get rid of the male aspect, but to balance male aggression and materialism, and this linear, logical, mental thought - always analysis, analysis.  We're more for healing and synthesis."

Lawrence Durdin-Robertson speaks on the Panathenaea in a past rite:

Listen on YouTube

"Friends, we are here assembled to celebrate the ancient Athenian Festival of the Panathenaea. The singer Orpheus instituted the Athenaea in honour of Pallas Athena, Goddess of Power, Wisdom and the Arts. At this time of the Vernal Equinox of equal days and nights, when the sun leaves the tied fishes for the ram, Athenians and foreign visitors formed a joyful procession. They climbed the hill of the Acropolis and brought to the Parthenon the peplum of Athena."

There are two audio files in honor of Pamela Durdin-Robertson. The first is Olivia speaking about Pamela's message from an owl:

 Listen on YouTube

"When you achieve Faery clairvoyance, this includes animals and birds.  And in this dimension they can talk.  My sister-in-law Pamela, came into my bedroom early one morning, went over to the window, drew the curtains and said she had just received a visit from an owl - came right through to her window.

I said laughingly,  'Oh, I suppose he had a message, indeed?'

'Oh yes,' she replied.  'He told me what's going to happen today.'

'This was private information - it happened'!"

The second audio is Olivia remembering Pamela during a past rite:

 Listen on YouTube

"I will remember my dear sister-in-law, wife to my brother Lawrence, Pamela, usually known as Poppy.  Her dog Carpet has been with us all during this ceremony, a dachshund.  We welcome animals, birds, in our outdoor ceremonies - we regard all life as sacred."

Sun in Capricorn

Blessings of the Sun in Capricorn!  From the FOI Liturgy book "Fortuna, Creation through the Goddess":

"Let us sit in a circle with eyes shut. We see before us a hill crowned with the Temple of the Zodiac. Its domed roof is surrounded by myriads of stars. We approach. The Temple has 12 windows and a southern portico flanked by 2 sphinxes. We enter. We warm ourselves at the perpetual flame upon the central altar.  We move to the North, to the window of Capricorn. This shows a stained-glass picture of a goat, with fish's tail, accompanied by a green man crowned with leaves, and a mermaid holding a cornucopia. Suddenly a wind blows the window open and we face the constellation of Capricorn! The Magi of old called Capricorn 'Altera Solis Porta', the starry gateway for souls to enter heaven. The stars called the Goat's head and body contain the abode of Muspell, ruled by the Valkyrie."

Sun in Sagittarius

Blessings of the Sun in Sagittarius!  From the FOI Liturgy book "Fortuna, Creation through the Goddess":

"Let us be seated with closed eyes. We surround ourselves with a rainbow and feel a tingle in our eye of vision. We face a hill surmounted by the Temple of the Zodiac. We mount the hill and reach the South-West portico flanked by a male and a female sphinx. We enter. In the centre is the Solar Altar flanked by four Kerubs. We approach the North and reach the window of Sagittarius. We stand before it. A stained-glass window shows a Goddess enthroned on a mighty rock. She is crowned and bears in her right hand a sceptre surmounted by a gold eagle. In her left hand she holds a crystal orb. Above her on the left is a crescent moon above a winged white horse. On the right is a rayed sun shining upon a peacock with raised tail."

Prophecy, Time and Space

In remembrance of Olivia Robertson (Apr 13, 1917-Nov. 14, 2013), here is an audio file of her speaking on prophecy, time and space:

FOI YouTube: https://youtu.be/qgVE2MPdzv0

Transcript: "Remember, prophecy is not looking into the future, it's remembering the future, because all time is one: past, present and future.  When you're going round a road and you see a car approaching, it's come round a bend and you haven't seen it before - but if you were in the sky, you would have seen its approach.  The gift of prophecy, is the gift therefore, of experiencing all time, all space. People say there's no such thing as time - there's plenty of it, but it's all there, now.  The same with space, and in some amazing, incomprehensible way, they're all existing round us.  As you sit, there is the past story of the room you're in and the people you're with, and there's the future. So try to project into eternal time and space, remembering space may represent Love, and time, Truth.  Both are one."

Sun in Scorpio

Blessings of the Sun in Scorpio! From the FOI Liturgy book "Fortuna, Creation through the Goddess":

"Let us be seated in a circle, eyes shut. We visualise ourselves at the foot of a hill crowned with the Temple of the Zodiac. We mount the hill - about us are myriads of stars. We face a Temple surrounded by a rainbow. We enter through the South-West portal flanked by 2 sphinxes. We enter. In the centre of the temple is the Altar of the Perpetual Flame, surrounded by the statues of a bull, lion, an eagle and an angel. Let us approach the Window of Scorpio in the West, overlooked by the eagle. We seat ourselves before this stained-glass window surmounted by the sign of Scorpio. It shows a man in green robes holding aloft a wand, entwined with a green and red cobra with raised hood. By him is a woman in purple robes, who is riding upon a tiger, her arm around his neck."

Happy Equinox and Sun in Libra

Blessings of the Equinox Sun in Libra! From the FOI Liturgy book "Sophia, Cosmic Consciousness of the Goddess":

"Companions on the quest for Truth and Justice, know that in many ancient lands the constellation of Libra, when in the House of the Autumnal Equinox, was revered as portraying Justice, through the equal balancing of day and night, summer and winter. In Egypt, the Goddess Maat was depicted presiding over the weighing of the Heart on the Scales of Justice. The Heart was balanced in the Northern pan against Her Ostrich Feather of Truth, whose every frond responds to the Breath of Spirit."

Sun in Virgo

Blessings of the Sun in Virgo! From the FOI Liturgy book "Fortuna, Creation through the Goddess":

"Virgo was known variously to the Ancients as Fortuna, Isis and Demeter. As Astraea, Goddess of Justice, Daughter of Themis, She holds the scales of Libra.. . We look at the twelve stained-glass windows. They have rounded arches above which are enamelled the signs of the Zodiac. Three white steps lead up to them, arched over the stream. We particularly examine the windows on either side of the doorway. On the left, where the stream flows away, is a window marked "Leo", the fifth sign. The stained-glass depicts a naked woman surrounded by a Hawk, a Lioness, a Cow and a Winged God. On the window on the right, where the stream enters, is a picture of a woman veiled from head to foot, holding an Ankh in her right hand, a scroll in her left. Over the window is the sixth sign of Virgo, formed by two folded wings and the knot of Isis. Over the doorway is a bas-relief of a Sphinx, her lion's body facing the Leo window, her woman's face turned towards the window of Virgo. Her wings sweep downwards on either side of the entrance, forming two feathery curtains. She faces the window of Leo, her twin constellation, the Egyptian Androsphinx."

Sun in Leo

Blessings of the Sun in Leo! From the FOI Liturgy book "Fortuna, Creation through the Goddess":

"To experience spiritual alchemy, you need to travel magically to the constellation of Leo. It is crowned by the temple of the Zodiac. We see arched over it, the Milky Way, the Goddess Nuit. Come let us climb the hill! The Way is hard and twisting, snakes glide past our feet, we hear the distant roar of lions. An eagle flies above us as we reach the lofty flights of steps before the South Gate of the Temple. This is guarded by two Andro-sphinxes, winged women with lions bodies. We pass between them into the Temple. In the centre of the Temple is the Altar of the Perpetual Flame. Beyond the encircling temple stream are 12 stained glass windows representing the signs of the Zodiac. Each is set between two tree-like pillars. Let us approach the windows of Leo! This shows Isis Unveiled. About her are Serapis, Osiris as a bull; Sekhmet, the Lion-headed Goddess; Horus with Hawk's wings outspread and Nut, pouring forth a stream of stars."

Solstice Sun in Cancer

Blessings of the Solstice Sun in Cancer!  Here is audio of FOI co-Founder, Lawrence Durdin-Robertson, during an FOI rite:

YouTube:  https://youtu.be/3BWyC8R1Veg

Transcript: "Companions on the quest for occult wisdom hidden within the Great Deep, know that the Sign of Cancer was reverenced in remote antiquity. In the fourth month of the Chaldea Duzu, it is the Northern Gate of the Sun whence, at the Summer Solstice, it commences its retrograde movement. With Scorpio and Pisces, Cancer forms the Watery Trigon. To the Coptic Egyptians, this sign was the Power of Darkness of the Jackal Anubis, Guide of the Dead, a Deity of Sirius. It was known as the Dark Sign with no eyes. The Ancient Egyptians knew it as Scarabeus, the beetle Kephera that holds the mud ball of earth. Cancer is depicted as Sacer, the Water Beetle of Immortality, in the most ancient Zodiac known, found in the Temple of Isis in the Denderah Temple of Hathor."

Sun in Gemini

Blessings of the Sun in Gemini! From the FOI Liturgy book "Fortuna, Creation through the Goddess":

"We visualise ourselves standing in long grass under trees. Before us is a hill, its summit wreathed in mist. Rising above the summit is the Temple of the Zodiac. We climb up the hill. The Temple rises above us, surrounded by constellations. We reach the South Gate, flanked by 2 female and male sphinxes, their wings reaching the stars. We enter. In the centre of the Temple we see the Altar of the everlasting Vestal flame, surrounded by 4 Kerubim, the bull, the lion, the eagle and the angel. The Temple has 12 windows with stained-glass pictures of the signs of the Zodiac. We cross the alabaster floor and reach the window of Gemini. The picture shows a young man and woman embracing each other, their wings reaching upwards to 2 stars. They head a spiral procession of twins winding like a serpent through indigo space. Suddenly a wind blows open the window and we see the constellation of Gemini."

Sun in Taurus

Blessings of the Sun in Taurus! From the FOI Liturgy book "Fortuna, Creation through the Goddess":

"Companions, let us contemplate the Awakening of Taurus and Isis. . . Gaze with me upon the glory of the black sky of winter. With the eyes of wondering childhood we see the starry cluster of the Pleiades as dancing nymphs moving across the sky. They come with the white bull, Serapis, who rises from the milky sky river, Eridanus. His baleful left eye gleams like a red torch, and within it are all lost memories. In his eye is held forever the beauty of the Goddess; and her forked cows' horns may be seen behind his. Following him strides the hawk-headed giant Sahu-Orion-Horus of the Southern sky. And rising from the milky sea of heaven comes great Isis, and on Her brow is the full moon and in her right hand She holds Her star, Anuki, Sirius that holds the immortal twin spirits of Osiris and Herself. This is the story of eternal love and life, of the losing and the gaining of the death in the West and the rising in the East. Contemplate and wonder."

Sun in Aries

Blessings of the Sun in Aries! From the FOI Liturgy book "Fortuna, Creation through the Goddess":

"Before us is a grassy hill like an emerald pyramid - and crowning it is the Temple of the Zodiac. We climb this hill. We reach the Temple Portico, flanked by lofty female and male sphinxes, their wings reaching the stars. We enter. In the centre is the altar of the perpetual flame composed of many coloured rays. It is guarded by a bull, lion, eagle and angel with outspread wings. There are 12 stained-glass windows in the Temple, and we approach the Window of Aries in the East. Let us contemplate its picture. It portrays a God and Goddess with bodies of copper-coloured light. The God holds aloft a sword of fire and the Goddess holds a flaming torch. They lead a winding procession of old people, the disabled, young children, animals and birds towards the stars. A sudden powerful wind throws open the window and we are faced by the triangle of the stars of Aries."

Sun in Pisces

Blessings of the Sun in Pisces! From the FOI Liturgy book "Fortuna, Creation through the Goddess":

"Let us be seated in a circle, eyes shut - our inner vision awakes. We find ourselves at the foot of the holy mountain upon which shines the Temple of the Zodiac, surrounded by constellations. We climb the mountain. We reach the mighty portico of the temple, guarded by two male and female sphinxes, whose wings soar to the heavens. We enter.  We make our way to the North-East window, surmounted by the emblem of Pisces, a silver and a gold fish joined by 2 knotted cords. Let us gaze upon the stained-glass window. It depicts the fish-tailed Goddess Derceto, holding 2 winged children, a boy and a girl. A wind suddenly rushes through the temple, throwing open the window. We are faced with the constellation of Pisces, known to the ancient Persians as Mahik the Fish."
